Industry Specific ComplianceThe Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (DAHD) on October 16, 2025, issued a draft notification regarding the Veterinary Health Certificate Requirements for the import of raw, salted pickled, limed, and dried skins and hides.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It aims to mandate a Veterinary Health Certificate for raw, salted, pickled, limed, and dried skins and hides imported into India.
